Hair - decisions, decisions...

Okay so in a few months spring will be here and I feel it is time for some change... I have had dark hair for as long as I can remember, but I have wanted to change it up for a long long time. I want colors like the pictures below, but I need to find a good hairdresser to get the results I want. I have tried going to a salon and spending a lot of money and it turned out so bad that I died it right back to dark again. I have skin color like these women, so I think I could pull it off if done right. I do wear a scarf in public, but I like my hair to look good even at home or with my family.
